WWII Living History Encampment Event
The Ozaukee County Historical will hold its WWII encampment event from 9AM-4PM at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village, 4880 County Hwy I, Saukville. This year the theme is the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. At the event, visitors will experience a soldier’s life in the camp, will be up close to the action of the battles, will learn about weaponry and military vehicles that were used in the war.
There is a holocaust exhibit explaining how the Jewish people resisted the pressure of the Nazi’s and the USO will have exhibits of life on the homefront that assisted the families and military efforts.

A variety of food offerings and beverages are available for purchase throughout the day.
