  • The Mequon and Thiensville community offers over twenty spacious recreational parks, including the extensive Mequon Nature Preserve, which encompasses 438 acres of land with five miles of hiking trails. Mequon Nature Preserve.  Many of the parks provide scenic views of the Milwaukee River or Lake Michigan and an opportunity to see wildlife while enjoying kayaking, canoeing , hiking and biking. The parks are also venues for sports and outdoor fun for the whole family featuring baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas and playground equipment.
