How do we know how far away things are in the universe? Take the long journey through history with amateur astronomer Jim Hahn and explore how distances to other planets, stars, and galaxies were determined. If the sky is clear, we will have telescopes set up after the program for views of the Moon (one light-second), Saturn (80 light-minutes) Orion Nebula (1300 light-years), and the Andromeda Galaxy (2.5 million light-years).
