The City of Mequon is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Public Works team. 

• Manage the City’s Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) system and develop 5-year road improvement plans and maps for road repaving and maintenance.
• Provide plan review and project management for road and construction projects including all phases of the bid process and award of contract.
• Design plans and develop project specifications in accordance with acceptable engineering practices.
• Assist with project management for City projects (road improvements, seal coating, drainage improvements, bike paths, sidewalks, sanitary sewer force main, parks, etc.).
• Perform survey work including topographic, drainage, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Inspect infrastructure construction done under private development.
• Work is performed under the general supervision of the Assistant City Engineer.
