Gathering on the Green will be holding its Spring Sound Check Party on May 19 at the Wisconsin Club on Good Hope Road in Milwaukee. Come spend the night with good friends, food & music. We have live & silent auction items for your enjoyment.
The proceeds of our Spring Party go towards our S.T.E.A.M. youth education program as well as our arts initiative. We are proud to promote and be advocates for the STEAM program and showcase these practices throughout the year in a variety of activities thru hands on education and one-of-a-kind interactions with professional trades people, artists and musicians. It is most prominent in our Summer STEAM Camp, which targets grades 3-5, held in conjunction with our Gathering on the Green musical event each July.
The programming, year round, gives students from all ways and walks of life the opportunity to be touched and affected by the purposeful integration of technology and the arts, while working to breakdown cultural biases and inspires humankind teamwork.
This year we are pleased to announce the establishment of the Gathering on the Green Scholarship Fund. We are awarding scholarships to students at Homestead High School, Concordia University and MATC/Mequon.
