The Ozaukee County Historical Society will hold a fund-raising event to restore its 1940 Milwaukee Road rib-side caboose at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village on Sept 10th from 9AM to 4PM. There will be a train show featuring the Kettle Moraine Ballast Scorchers, Metro Model Railroad Club, live music by Pickin' Up Speed, Chicken Roast, skits by the Kerry Kraemer and a live auction of railroad items and items donated by area businesses. James Wades, International President of the Morse Telegraph Club, an association of retired railroad and commercial telegraphers and historians will be onsite demonstrating the interactive telegraph exhibit he has created at Pioneer Village. Admission is $5 and children under 5 are free.
?Note: Chicken Roast is $8 served from 11AM until sold out and is available as carry-out if not able to attend the event. Just drive up order get it and go!?
