Did you ever wonder how the stars and constellations got their names? How’s your Arabic? Greek? Latin? Jim Hahn will help us decipher names from Arcturus to Zubenelgenubi, covering stories of egotism, corrupted language, and pranks along the way. After the main program, we will have telescopes set up for views of Saturn, the Pleiades, and the Andromeda Galaxy.
This program is led by Jim Hahn, an amateur astronomer and science enthusiast.
