  • Audio-Video Technician Position (part-time)

    Mequon United Methodist Church is seeking to employ an individual to lead the church’s  A-V Tech Team (volunteers) in preparing and presenting audio and visual content for church services that are conducted in-person and live streamed.  Approximate total hours per week is 12 to 16 hours. This role is non-exempt, paid hourly.
     
    The individual will be responsible for preparing content for the presentation of church services for in-person and virtual services, for operating the audio and visual equipment, during services and managing the live stream event.  Creating announcement/presentation video loops to be displayed on church monitors and preparing content and videos for the MUMC website would also be part of the job description.
     
    The individual should have experience with vMix (or equivalent) software platform for the church’s live streaming broadcasts: experience with editing and presentation software used in our current creation process (for example: PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro). The person needs to have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the fly. This person needs great interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with church staff and volunteers in preparing for services, as well as a high level of attention to detail and consistency in process and content.
