    City of Mequon Mayor, John Wirth issued a Proclamation on May, 14, 2020 for reopening businesses that imposes temporary restrictions on businesses that tend to accumulate larger numbers of people in close proximity and businesses that necessitate close proximity between provider and customer. This Proclamation provides a bridge until for assessing conditions and reopening businesses safely. COVID-19 EMERGENCY PROCLAMATION NO. 5

    "Safer at Home” order directs all Wisconsin residents to stay in their homes, except to perform essential tasks. Except for Essential Businesses and Operations, all non-essential businesses will close. The order, effective March 25, 2020, expired May 12, 2020.
