The Ozaukee County Historical Society is holding it'sHeritage Day June 10th at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village. We are in the process of re-branding it to Handwerker Schau, a name that was used in the early days of Pioneer Village (1960's-1970's). It is a festival of historic demonstrators and artisans. This year we have 22 folks that will be presenting their trade, craft or skills. Some of these include spinning, candle making, quilting, butter churning, weaving, turning wooden bowls, blacksmithing and more. There will also be activities for children to make & take things home. Joining us this year are the Trinity-Friestadt Historial Society, Grafton Historical Society, Jonathan Clark Museum and the Oscar Grady Saukville Library joining us. At 1:00 Jim and Marty Burch from the Big Cedar Bluegrass Band from West Bend will demonstrate vintage instruments and play a few tunes.
Food, beverages and ice cream.
