Mequon, WI - July 23, 2019 - On Sunday and Monday, August 18th and 19th, 2019, the Peltz Center for Jewish Life in Mequon will hold its 1st Annual Jewish Food Festival at the beautiful, 63 acre Virmond Park, 10606 N. Lake Shore Dr. in Mequon. Admission is free.
The 2 day Jewish Food Festival will feature mouth watering traditional Jewish foods that you won’t want to miss! Streaming hot potato knishes, Hungarian-style stuffed cabbage, New York deli sandwiches, Israeli falafel and shawarma, and of course staples like classic hot dogs and beef burgers fresh from our grill.
Each day will also feature an irresistible special of succulent rotisserie chicken or glazed beef ribs.
Rabbi Moshe Luchins, Community Engagement and Festival Coordinator commented, "This festival is a great way for the community to come together and strengthen Jewish awareness while enjoying delicious authentic Jewish food. The community is excited about the festival and we are expecting a tremendous turnout.”
Live music, graffiti artist, magician and a juggler are all included in the free admission.
The Fun Zone for children has a minimal charge and includes face painting, a petting zoo, and an awesome inflatable zone. And everyone should try their hand at kosher pickle making and braiding your own challah!

Proceeds from this event will fund the community outreach programs of the Peltz Center for Jewish Life. Your support enables us to visit the disabled, provide meals for the elderly, organize teen and youth programs, and much more.
