The Mequon-Thiensville Area Chamber of Commerce at its core is dedicated to promoting quality development of Mequon, Thiensville and the surrounding area, through support to area businesses, service to members and the public, and a community-wide approach to issues shaping the area's future.

These are some facts you may find valuable. The Mequon-Thiensville Chamber:

• Has more than 350 members who pay annual dues to enjoy benefits such as serving on committees, attending networking and training events, participating in the cost-saving affinity programs and receiving the Chamber's weekly email - "The Chamber Chat" and the monthly e-newsletter.
   
• Is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization
   
• Serves the City of Mequon, Village of Thiensville, Ozaukee County and member businesses in southeast Wisconsin
   
• Represents large and small business. 87% of the current membership is made up of small businesses, having 50 or fewer employees
   
• Has a professionally trained staff and a Board of Directors of 17 representatives of local business to provide guidance, continuity and expertise to the Mequon-Thiensville's Chamber's current membership
   
• Is independent of local or state government
   
• Offers a Community Gift Certificate Program to benefit members enrolled in program and encourages shopping locally.
